Rachel Shearer is an audio and visual artist currently lecturing in time-based arts in Spatial Design at AUT. Her work is informed by a range of sound practices.

Active as an experimental musician since the late 1980s, Rachel also creates sound installations, music for film, sound design and editing.

Andra lives on the edge of a forest with a musician named Yani and their children, whom they plan to raise as ninja. She aspires to become more fictional than real and retire into a Terry Pratchett book, preferably one with witches in it.
