Rosemary McLeod has had a long career in print and broadcast
media, has won major awards for journalism and is currently a newspaper
columnist.
Her vintage domestic textile craft collection has been exhibited nationally. Her book Thrift to
Fantasy: Home Textile
Crafts of the 1930s-1950s won the history category of the Montana Book Awards in 2006.
She won the Pen Best First Book of Prose award in 1976 for her satirical novel A Girl
Like I, illustrated
with her own drawings, and formerly illustrated her own columns in The Listener and North & South.
